The "sonshine" of Andrew Wilhelm and Amanda Brooke Lowe Schulze, Maddox Wilhelm Prime Schulze, was delivered stillborn on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville. Maddox will always be loved, missed and remembered by his devoted parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and friends. Nine months could never be enough time to have him on earth, but every moment with him was a generous blessing from Our Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and Maddox is at home with Him now. "And [Job] said, 'Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I shall return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord" (Job 1:21).
In addition to his parents, Maddox is survived by his grandparents, Wolfgang Schulze of Scotland, Ontario, and Deb Alverman of Charlotte, NC, Kelly and Wendy Lowe of Salisbury, NC, Vicki Bailey of Plano, TX, Rodney Bailey of Mocksville, NC; great-grandparents, Twila Baumgard of Winston-Salem, NC, Daniel Lowe of Belfry, KY, Lindsey and Girley Kennedy of Lexington, NC, Lucy Propst of Salisbury, NC, Janice Chafin, Delbarton, WV, Bill and Peggy Bailey of Advance, NC, and Helen Truell of Mocksville, NC; and great-great-grandparents, Thelma Lowe of Belfry, KY and Glendine Justice of Delbarton, WV.
Visitation: The family will receive family and friends from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, December 18, 2011, at Powles Funeral Home in Rockwell. Services and Burial will be private.
