Hello, I'm Amanda. On April 16, 2011, I got some of the best news of my life: I was going to be a mom! Then, on December 12th, I got the very worst: my son's heart had stopped beating.
My son, Maddox Wilhelm Prime Schulze, was stillborn on December 13, 2011. He weighed 5 pounds and 6 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. He was a beautiful, perfect combination of his father and me.
This blog is dedicated to my son, his father's and my journeys through the grief of losing him, and Jesus, who is my shield, my strength, and my deliverer, among so many other things.

As of 2019, Maddox's father and I are no longer together.
